This Year’s Duke Basketball Schedule Is Going To Be A Bit Different

This year’s schedule is going to be jarringly different in one respect: with the ACC schedule expanded to accommodate the upcoming ACC Network, Duke will have two ACC games in December.

Accordingly, there’s a slot open on either December 9th or 10th for a home conference game - before exams.

That’s a major change and it’ll take some getting used to, not least of all for a very young team.

It’ll be an adjustment for fans, too and it makes the Dominican trip that much more important.

Here’s the finalized non-conference part of the schedule. Highlights: Michigan State in the Champions Classic, the new PK-80 Nike event in Portland, at Indiana for the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, and St. John’s in the Garden.
