Cameron Johnson Picks The Heels

The battle isn’t over yet but he has the moral and probably legal high ground.

On Tuesday, Cameron Johnson blew off Pitt and went ahead and committed to UNC despite Pitt’s intention to restrict his intra-conference transfer.

Pretty clearly he has the high ground and to back it up he wrote a very articulate piece which Pitt will have a hard time living with.

Well to be clear Pitt would prefer to just shaft him and be done but he’s made that very difficult and his articulate statement just adds more pressure.

Pitt apparently told him that he had to sit out a year but the NCAA seems to have told him otherwise.

He dropped a magic phrase - legal counsel - and soon enough Pitt is going to give in.

So let’s assume he wins because that seems likely and correct.

We’re also interested in the coaches involved, because Kevin Stallings used to work for Roy and the two are good friends. So how is this going to play out between them?
