Notre Dame v Michigan
NEW YORK, NY - MARCH 18: Mark Donnal #34 of the Michigan Wolverines goes up against Rex Pflueger #0 and Demetrius Jackson #11 of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the second half during the first round of the 2016 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament at Barclays Center on March 18, 2016 in the Brooklyn borough of New York City.

A few ACC additions we haven’t gotten to yet: Virginia picked up an International player in Italian Francesco Badocchi, who has been playing high school ball in Kansas City.

His high school coach said this: “I think he’s just going to be a really good player for them. He’s smart and understands the game. He can pass and do all the little things.”

Up in Boston, Jim Christian got an interesting commitment from Vin Baker, Jr.

If the name sounds familiar it should: his dad had an outstanding NBA career before alcohol abuse knocked him off the rails.

Jr. is 6-8 and says his dad made sure he developed guard skills. Unlike a lot of young players, he seems pretty rational about his strengths and weaknesses: “My strengths are being able to dribble and score the ball from the outside at my size and my weakness is being able to guard small, quick guards at my position, which I will work on all summer and season.”

And Clemson picked up an intriguing grad student transfer when Michigan’s Mark Donnal chose the Tigers.

He didn’t get a lot of time at Michigan but he has three point range and should put up better numbers at Clemson than he did with the Wolverines.
