We first got wind of this story on the CBS Sports Eye On College Basketball Podcast and it’s pretty amazing.

We’re talking about the shockingly fast rise of Jake Wiley and his triumph over, well, just about everything.

Wiley started at Montana under Wayne Tinkle and had a long and difficult path before he got to Eastern Michigan where he played in obscurity before drawing attention at Portsmouth.

It’s a sad story in parts, but the joy is that he has overcome so very much and that he may get drafted and will certainly get free agent offers. It’s a great story.
