Duke v North Carolina
CHAPEL HILL, NC - FEBRUARY 03: Coach Joanne P. McCallie of the Duke Blue Devils directs her team duing a win over the North Carolina Tar Heels at Carmichael Arena on February 3, 2013 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Duke won 84-63.

Well this should be fun: Coach P. picked up a promising transfer for the women's team: Bego Faz Davalos, who competed at Fresno State, comes to Duke as a grad transfer, meaning she’ll be eligible immediately.

Here’s the intriguing part: she’s a shot-blocking machine. The 6-3 native of Mexico is the NCAA’s leading active shot blocker with 346.

She should have a major impact for the Blue Devils, not least of all on defense.
