The other day we looked at what a disaster Pitt basketball has become.
To the best of our knowledge between graduation and transfers, there are only two guys coming back and so far, not enough guys to really practice.
Well they’re getting closer: Pitt got a grad student transfer from Lafayette, one Monty Boykins.
He’s 6-5 and sat out last year with a shoulder injury. As a junior he averaged about 10 ppg.
He’s been around the game enough to be helpful even if he doesn’t start.
