NBA: Playoffs-Toronto Raptors at Cleveland Cavaliers

Well this is pretty funny - Mountain Dew put together a Kyrie 3 K.A.R.E. Kit, and K.A.R.E. stands for Kyrie’s Ankle Recovery Equipment.

In the package you get shoes, Dews, an iPad with Kyrie’s crossover preloaded, a clipboard, a first aid kit and an emergency phone.

The former Duke star is capable of breaking ankles for sure. However, shoe technology may save some people from harm when they’re trying to guard Kyrie.

All the big players are working on 3D printed shoes, and soon, according to WIRED, you’l be able to go into a shoe store, have your feet scanned and custom shoes printed on the spot.

Before industrialization there were no left and right shoes - that’s a fairly recent innovation. We all have subtle differences in our feet and the idea of shoes printed for your individual feet is amazing. People will line up for that.

And while a pair of custom-printed shoes may not help to guard a guy like Kyrie Irving, well, it can’t hurt.

And maybe they’ll save your ankles.

Or, for those of us not in the NBA, make for a more pleasant fit.
