Rebecca Greenwell’s Latest Blog Entry

We follow men’s basketball more closely than women’s but certainly we pull for the women’s team too.

Just like on the men’s side we have our favorites - we always liked Alana Beard, Hilary Howard, Georgia Schweitzer, Alana Beard and our personal favorite Lauren Rice, who just seemed to enjoy herself more than anyone else, in a Magic Johnson sort of way. She just seemed like an incredible teammate. Who wouldn’t want to do battle with someone like that?

Recently though we had a great deal of respect for Elizabeth Williams and Allison Vernerey our favorite has been Rebecca Greenwell.

Here’s her most recent blog entry for GoDuke.com. She’s due back next year - she plans to do a year at Fuqua and have one more season on the court: “Luckily, I still have one last victory lap at Duke as I'll be returning for my fifth year to play basketball and complete the Fuqua School of Business' Masters in Management program. I'm so happy to be coming back because I'm just not ready to be done with Duke completely. I still have many more goals to accomplish and memories to be made.”
