Duke Recruiting: Darius Garland Update

Here’s an update on Nashville PG Darius Garland, who is getting tons of attention including a new face in Archie Miller, recently hired at Indiana.

To be clear, we’re sure he made his pitch from Dayton but as Kevin Keatts said recently, you can recruit players at NC State that you can’t get at Wilmington. Well, IU is an even bigger platform, at least when the program is doing well or showing promise.

As for what he’s looking for, Garland told Inside The Hall this: “I want to get my degree. That’s a big thing for me. Just how much I’ll play as a freshman. I want to have the ball as a freshman, just play my game, be a leader. I want to help my team wherever I choose to go.”
