NBA: Cleveland Cavaliers at Indiana Pacers
Feb 8, 2017; Indianapolis, IN, USA; Cleveland Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving (2) drives to the basket against Indiana Pacers guard Jeff Teague (44) at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Cleveland defeats Indiana 132-117.

Well this is going to be fun: you know the Uncle Drew commercials Kyrie Irving does for Pepsi?

They're going to make a movie. Uncle Drew is going to go on the road and get his old crew back together and reconquer Rucker’s.

For basketball junkies it should be a blast just for the cameos. They could have a ton of fun with that. Connie Hawkins? Fly Williams? A weird scene with Bill Walton? Why not?

There are just so many guys you could drop in but it’s too bad they can’t get Howard Garfinkel or Al Lewis, both deceased (Howard Garfinkel is a legend who scouted high school players, started the Five-Star Camp and basically knew everyone in the game; Al Lewis you probably remember from the Munsters - he was Grandpa - and he was a huge basketball fan who liked to discover young players).

Anyway, we hope they do it justice. The theme is fun and they can play with the present and the glorious past of street ball.
