With just one Tuesday game and no games until Saturday, ACC At A Glance is taking some time off.

In Tuesday’s only game, BC beat Columbia 81-66 to move to 8-3 meaning they’ve nearly matched last year’s total of nine wins.

With games coming up against Central Connecticut and 2-8 Richmond, BC should move to 10-3. With a few breaks, BC could end up with a winning season despite the loss of the main frontcourt threat Deontae Hawkins, out for the season with a knee injury.

Is BC’s upset of Duke “program defining?” Well it’s big. Whether it defines the program depends on what happens during the rest of the season. If BC finishes with a losing record and a long winning streak then it’s an anomaly

Here’s Jim Larranaga on Miami’s season to date. Suffice it to say he’s pretty happy.

Jarek Felton is settling in at UNC but he has a ways to go yet. Still, he’s making clear progress.

After sitting out last year, Syracuse’s Paschal Chukwu is setting a new tone inside for the Orange. He’s really changed the defense and rebounding for Syracuse.

Is Pitt struggling? To be sure and as expected. The Panthers are improving though.

Over in Charlottesville, Tony Bennett is putting together another good team but says he’d like some more offense.

That hasn’t been a problem for Virginia Tech this year. Do people think that the Hokies deserve respect though?

They’ll get a chance to earn a great deal more Saturday at Kentucky...but John Calipari is playing the respect card himself.
