NBA: Golden State Warriors at Boston Celtics

Jason Williams, who was just inducted into the College Basketball Hall of Fame, started an interesting conversation when he said Kyrie Irving was the best player ever out of Duke.

Certainly he’s the best ever as an NBA player - his only rival is Grant Hill and injuries derailed his career.

Otherwise though we’d have to give props to not just Hill but Bobby Hurley, Christian Laettner, JJ Redick, Danny Ferry, Shane Battier and a bunch of other guys too, not least of all Art Heyman.

And of course Williams himself, who was absolutely electrifying at Duke. He was just brilliant.
