Duke is again rated pre-season #1, which is nice, but pretty meaningless.

Still, as Oscar Wilde said, the only worse than being talked about is not being talked about. No one should mind if people think you’re going to be good. You want them to think that.

As for the rest of the ACC, UNLV-CH is ranked #9, Miami #13, Notre Dame #14 and Louisville #16 despite losing Rick Pitino.

That gives the ACC 1/5 of the initial Top 25.

Making the Top 25 for the first time ever: Northwestern, now coached by former Duke star and assistant Chris Collins.

Expectations high for No. 1 Duke
