Congratulations to Steve Wojciechowski and his Marquette Golden Eagles who upset #1 Villanova Tuesday night for the biggest win of Wojo’s Marquette career.

It was the first time in school history that Marquette took down the #1 team in the regular season.

The best part? A 17 point comeback and a 19-4 run to win it.

Afterwards, Wojo said this: “The thing I was most proud of in the game was our toughness. There were a number of breaking points throughout the game where teams that I’ve had here, maybe even including this one, would have not kept fighting. But our guys kept fighting and at the end they found a way to win.”
