The ACC released all football schedules Monday, including Duke’s. So what does Duke have?
Well a fairly tough schedule.
Duke opens with NC Central and then Northwestern and Baylor both visit Durham. Then - shockingly early - Duke is off to Chapel Hill for a September tiff.
Then Miami returns to the scene of the crime, followed by a trip to Virginia.
Florida State will be tough but at least it’s at home.
Virginia Tech is at Tech then there’s a break from the conference for a trip to West Point, followed by Georgia Tech at home before closing out with Wake Forest at Wake.
Things have changed a great deal because all of thse games, except maybe Florida State, are games Duke should be in - and we wouldn’t rule out Florida State either, at least not yet.
That’s the game that made us go uh-oh.
The rest? Duke has, at the least, a chance in all of these games.
