A bit of turmoil at Georgia Tech Tuesday as A.D. Mike Bobinski has taken the Purdue job after just three years at Tech.
It makes sense for him but according to Jeff Schultz of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, he’s not leaving Tech in great shape.
Mark Bradley is usually pretty caustic and he doesn't disappoint here.
He leaves as the ACC is set to make a lot more money and of course Tech will get their share, which should ease some of the problems the school has had.
At some point presumably the school will stop paying ex-coaches; that gets closer all the time.
And of course Atlanta should be an easy place to raise big money for facilities.
It’ll take some work to find the right person, but for the right candidate, right now Tech is a great, great job.
You turn that around, you can write your ticket from there.
