He's said to be highly versatile, which is always a plus at Duke.

He's also been offered by UConn, Villanova, Seton Hall, Penn State, Maryland and Auburn.

In other ACC news, Wake Forest landed a commitment from 6-8 junior Melo Eggleston who is from Maryland.

Manning is in the process of overhauling Wake's roster and it's becoming a good bit more athletic.

Next year he'll have John Collins, Doral Moore and freshman Samuel Japhet-Mathias down low. The first two showed plenty of potential as freshmen.

He'll also have junior Konstantinos Mitoglou, 6-10, freshman Donovan Mitchell, 6-8, Greg McClinton, 6-6, freshman Rich Washington, 6-6, transfers Austin Arians and Matt Williams, 6-6 and 6-5.

In the backcourt, he'll have highly promising Bryant Crawford, 6-3, 6-2 Mitchell Wilbekin and 6-0 Randolph Childress, son of He Who Must Not Be Named.

Young? Absolutely. Promising? We think so. It's a much more athletic group and assuming they are coachable, should develop quickly.
