Both honors are awarded by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA).
The Big O goes to the National Player Of The Year, while the Tisdale goes to the National Freshman of The Year.
We're guessing they don't do this but they should really give out Tisdale's music to winners.
Tisdale was a wonderful basketball player but as it turned out, an even better musician. Look him up on Spotify or whatever. He was really good.
He died in 2009 of cancer, just 44.
