It’s time to pay more attention to FSU.

Florida State has topped 88 points seven times in 10 games and topped 100 three times.

The ‘Notes are averaging 90.6 ppg.

In the last five games, FSU has held opponents to 61, 67, 48, 49 and 63, or 57.6 ppg.

That’s a winning margin of 28.4 ppg.

Nicholls was held to 33.9% and 17.4% from three point range. FSU forced 20 turnovers.

The biggest suprise is that Florida State only had 12 free throws. You'd think in a game this dominant the opponent would have fouled more but no.

Florida State plays Florida Saturday and as we saw in the Garden with Duke, Florida is a tough team. That’ll tell us a lot.

Good news for State: after missing seven games with a concussion, Maverick Rowan is good to go. He may be a bit rusty but he should help.

Wake takes a short trip to Greensboro to play UNCG Friday night and Danny Manning is leery about the Spartan’s three-point attack.

Wake is just #175 nationally in three point defense.

Greensboro has two guys who particularly concern Manning - Francis Alonso and Demetrius Troy, who are both hitting 43.9%.

Manning even said Alonso reminds him of Reggie Miller.

BC also plays Hartford, and that’s a winnable game for the Eagles, particularly with Jerome Robinson playing as well as he has.
