Elizabeth Williams To See Her Duke Jersey Retired

Only the third woman at Duke to be so honored.

Duke has announced that the #1 worn by Elizabeth Williams will be retired.

The ceremony will be on December 29th at the halftime of the Duke-Kentucky game.

Her jersey will join those of Alana Beard and Lindsay Harding in the Cameron rafters.

It’s a well-deserved honor. Williams not only was highly successful on the court but also represented Duke as well as anyone we can think of.
