We were truly sorry to learn that Col. Tom Rogers has passed. Col. Rogers was an early Mike Krzyzewski assistant at Duke, having followed him to Durham from Army.

He stayed in Durham for the rest of his long life - he died at 94 - and was loyal to Coach K and Duke to the end, just as he was loyal to West Point and the Army. He had a major role (no pun intended) in building the Duke program into what it is today.

He was in short a very good man and he’ll be missed by many.
