NCAA Basketball: Final Four-Championship Game-Wisconsin vs Duke

Take this for what it’s worth, but one bookmaking site has Duke as a 4-1 favorite to win the national title.

Kentucky is next at 15-2 and Kansas and Villanova are 10-1.

Here’s the thing about handicapping the NCAA tournament though: the odds are against everyone. It just takes one bad game or one bad matchup to throw things into chaos.

Look at Kentucky in 2015-16. That was an overwhelming team, but one taken down a less talented but incredibly tight Wisconsin team.

Duke is in a great situation in October. Harry Giles is already delayed by knee problems though and we just don’t know who will emerge.

It’s a long way to Tipperary, in other words. It’s fun to be seen as the best but the best usually loses.
