With no natural point guard on a loaded roster, 6-3 Frank Jackson, out of Alpine, Utah, is a big key for Duke this year. So how’s he adjusting?

So far so good, he tells Good4Utah.com. Like all high school kids who play in the ACC,it’s a big leap, and certainly Durham is a major change from Utah. It must have been nearly overwhelming in summertime - Durham can be brutally hot and humid and the air is much heavier.

Still, he says he’s settled in: "Yeah, it was a big adjustment. We got here earlier in the summer, but I've adjusted well. I'm comfortable with the area. I'm comfortable with my teammates and the coaching staff as well."

Even with his roommate Javin DeLaurier, who he jokes is “crazy and dirty too” and who “smells bad.”

He has some things to say about his role at Duke and what his teammates are like.
