One of the great traditions of Duke basketball is when the band plays Wipeout and the Blue Devil surfs over the trombone players, who then get up and run to the front of the line as the Blue Devils tries to make it all the way down the court before the time out ends.

It’s pretty cool but how did it start? Well, it wasn’t what it became to be sure but the journey must have been pretty fun.

Now, no game in Cameron would be complete without it.
