Countdown to Craziness is this Saturday, and the Duke Chronicle has a preview which is pretty good.

Everyone is going to focus on the freshman, other than the rehabbing Harry Giles of course, but everyone is worth paying attention to and that’s not always true.

We’re curious to see the freshmen but also how the upperclassmen have evolved. And some of the guys who are getting minimal attention we’re very curious about.

We’re really curious about the progress of Justin Robinson who redshirted last season but found ways to be an important part of the program. We’re curious too to see if he’ll have a late growth spurt like his dad David did at Navy. So far he’s still 6-8.

We’re also looking forward to seeing how Antonio Vrankovic has evolved. Last season he was a big kid with an undefined body but, in our opinion, really good hands and a good feel for the game.

He needs to get stronger and more agile but the guy has potential.

We admire Chase Jeter’s desire to stick with Duke despite a rocky freshman year and look forward to seeing what he’s added to his game.

Finally we’d like to see Jack White’s game. His videos are intriguing and Aussies play a different sort of game than most American kids.
