Heels Land A Big Man

Sterling Manley has been out with an injury so he’s a bit of a mystery at present.

His name is a headline writer’s dream: Sterling Manley, 6-11 and 230, has committed to the Tar Heels.

Manley, a 6-11 230 lb. player from Pickerington Ohio’s Pickerington Central - known for “its authoritarian zero tolerance policy,” according to Wikipedia, which also points out that it was known as Pickerington High from 1540-1592 - missed the end of his junior year and all of the summer’s AAU action with a broken tibia. He’s only been in action for six weeks so it’s really hard to know much about where he stands. We’d guess he’s underrated.
