Rasheed Sulaimon, who of course finished up at Maryland after spending three years at Duke, is back in the state trying to catch on with the Charlotte Hornets. He has a few things to say about Duke and Durham: "It was three years of the best years of my life. I made a lot of friends here, and the community, the way I interacted with the community and the way they accepted me and embraced me, it will always have a very warm spot in my heart.”
About his dismissal he said: "It was very difficult, to be honest, and it's still a very sensitive topic every time my mom, my family or I think about it. It was a very tough time for me, but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. So, I just tried to grow from it, learn from it. I'm still trying to progress and become a better man and a basketball player."
Can’t argue with that.
