With Duke's struggling after Amile Jefferson's injury, there are a lot of differing opinions about what will happen. Take the N&O's Laura Keeley, who seems fairly skeptical.

On the other end is Dick Vitale, who cautions not to count Duke out yet.

Given his career and his insights into the game, we're more inclined to side with him.

As we've said several times recently, Duke is clearly struggling without Jefferson, but there is a lot of room to grow. If you think Luke Kennard and  Derryck Thornton won't get better from here, better think again. And Brandon Ingram is improving rapidly as well. And as some point, Chase Jeter, who has had a rough ACC season, will show what a talent he is and begin to contribute.

And then, as Vitale said, at some point Jefferson will return too.
