Rebecca Greenwell finished with 23 points and nine rebounds. Greenwell hit 5-8 from three point range.
Azura Stevens added 11 points and four rebounds but was limited to 21 minutes because of foul trouble.
Duke was outrebounded by the Seahawks, who grabbed 20 offensive boards and outrebounded Duke overall 39-35.
Coach P. was not pleased: "There is a lot I like and a lot I don’t like. I think the energy I will put that on the team and the captains and the people that play. Their job is to get the team ready in that regard. They don’t have anything to do but play basketball so I have no excuse for that whatsoever, but I think you’re right about that. Obviously I’m not pleased, I’ll never be pleased to be outrebounded by a much smaller team so we’ll just continue to forge ahead and work on things and go from there. But you let a team get 20 offensive rebounds in your own gym and they’re pretty much three to four inches shorter than you, that’s a concept of hustle. That’s a concept of desire and that’s just what it is."
