Congratulations to Jahlil Okafor who was named both ACC Freshman of The Year and the ACC Player Of The Year, which is unprecedented.

It is deserved though. He's good beyond his years.

Also named First Team:

  • Jerian Grant, Notre Dame
  • Rakeem Christmas, Syracuse
  • Malcolm Brogdon, Virginia
  • Olivier Hanlan, BC
Second Team:

  • Montrezl Harrell, Louisville
  • Terry Rozier, Louisville
  • Quinn Cook, Duke
  • Trevor Lacey, NC State
  • Justin Anderson, Virginia
Tyus Jones made 3rd team but there's a big argument for moving him up, not to mention Cook, who had an amazing year. However, the voters always split the spots up as broadly as possible.

Jones and Winslow joined Okafor on the All-Freshman team.

Tony Bennett was named Coach Of The Year, while Beejay Anya got Sixth Man Of The Year.
