It's impossible not to respect Notre Dame's passion and effort vs. Kentucky.

Who ever dreamed that Zach Auguste would outperform all of UK's big men except Karl-Anthony Towns? Who could have ever believed 6-5 Pat Connaughton would outrebound all of Kentucky's touted big men? Who thought that the Harrisons would finish 2-14?

Kentucky came through in the clutch, but mostly because of a few mistakes and a handful of misses by Notre Dame. The Irish will be reliving this for a long time.

In the afternoon's first game, Wisconsin was superb down the stretch against Arizona, and in particular Sam Dekker. The 6-9 forward was absolutely superb, hitting 8-11 for 27 points.

Frank Kaminsky was also outstanding, finishing with 29 points.

Wisconsin will not be an easy out given how well they run their system, their experience and confidence. But their depth is limited.

On Sunday, while we think Duke should top Gonzaga, we also think Michigan State will prevail over Louisville. Rick Pitino has done a brilliant job late in the season, but his team still has limitations. So do the Spartans, but Tom Izzo is getting the most out of his guys. They'll make it back.
