Of all the stories we've seen about Duke into the Sweet Sixteen, and the prospects of advancement, this one is probably the best and most on-target.

It's about what Duke learned in losing to Notre Dame and how the lessons are being applied now.
There are no guarantees other than hard work, but if that is guaranteed, everything else will fall in place and Duke will go as far as hard work takes it. Who could ask for more?
Now for an individual story which is great: SI's piece on Jahlil Okafor and how he came to be so advanced is really, really outstanding.
Chase Jeter, who will be Duke's next big man, doesn't have Okafor's bundle of moves (who does?) but he does have one pretty good one.
Jeter and his Duke classmate-to-be, incidentally, were both named Gatorade Players Of The Year in their home states of Nevada and Ohio.
And by the way, Bobby Hurley won't be going to DePaul as Buffalo has given him a nice raise in hopes he'll stick around.
