You know, we'd love it if Jahlil Okafor stayed at Duke for more than a year, for the obvious reasons, but also because he's such a sweet kid. The fact that he's even considering it is really cool.
It's one thing to say it and another to actually do it, so we'll see what happens when the draft comes calling. It'd be great if he did though. The basketball is wonderful and everything and we'd love to see him develop as a player.
We'd also love to see him value where he is and not be in such a hurry to get somewhere else. The NBA is not the easy life people seem to think it is.
Whatever he decides, Duke fans have bonded with him in a big way.
