It's a hit but it's also an opportunity to develop depth.

Fortunately for UNC, it's his non-shooting hand. It really shouldn't affect his shooting and there's no reason he can't run. It'll be a chance for his younger teammates to step up and if it's managed correctly, it's an opportunity.

If UNC is lucky, he'll be back in time for the big Maryland game on December 1st.

Miami had an easy exhibition win, beating D-II Dowling 91-40. Sheldon McClellan led the way with 18.

State opens exhibition play on Sunday with Cal State-Los Angeles, another D-II team.

Nike's doing new uniforms again, this time putting various schools in turquoise togs, including Florida State.

Surprise - someone picked Syracuse to win the ACC this year. Who was it? Dan Tortora.

He picked Syracuse, UNC and Pitt, which is interesting, to say the least.

In order for Syracuse to stun the conference in this way, they'll need a big year from Caleb Joseph, who struggled last year to replace Tyler Ennis. He says he learned from last year's struggles.

As you probably know, Clemson won't have Littlejohn to kick the ACC around in this season. While renovations are underway, the Tigers will play in Greenville. Exhibition play opens for the Tigers on Thursday against Lenoir-Rhyne; the regular season opens on November 13th against NCCU. There's a reasonable chance for an upset.

There's a lot of unhappiness in Louisville right now, but it doesn't apply to everyone. Take this big fan for example, who got a tattoo of Pitino's face. That's commitment!
