After video emerged of his fight earlier this week, Jahlil Okafor said it was "dumb" and "embarrassing."

You just never know what could happen.
It occurred to us as well that the guy who taunted Okafor wasn't too smart either. Okafor is a very big, powerful man. What's the point of risking an embarrassing whipping?
But then we saw this story: apparently Okafor had a previous altercation under similar circumstances - and the guy pulled a gun on him.
All things considered, he might want to curb the nightlife. He can recover from this, but if he has more issues, it'll damage his reputation. And as we always say, while there is a salary cap, there is no cap on endorsements. This sort of thing endangers that income.
