Coach McCallie said that "[a]t this time, it is in Amber’s best interest to take time away from basketball to focus on her personal well-being. We will continue to be in full support of Amber, and hope for her return to our program in the future."

She's had a tough time at Duke because of injuries. But basketball is a short window in one's life. She's moving on to other big things. But personal turmoil is never fun. We hope she's okay.
