Insider: IU's familiar flaws lead to loss in Maui

UNC bounces back with 80-69 win over Northwestern

Wake Forest upsets No. 13 Indiana at Maui Invitational

Miami emerging as one of November’s best teams and an ACC contender

Miami basketball is experiencing its fairy tale success all over again

It's been a long time since Wake Forest has had a win as big as Monday's win over #13 Indiana.

Keep in mind that prior to that, Wake beat UMBC by five, Bucknell by eight, and lost to Richmond by 11 - at home.

And don't forget that Wake is still without Cody Miller-McIntyre, and Cornelius Hudson and Rondale Watson are still suspended.

For Danny Manning, who had to deal with a lot last season and who had - let's face it - a tough time getting everyone on board - this win is huge. It's an indication that perhaps his overhaul of Wake's program is going fairly well.

You may or may not be aware of it but Hoosier fans are really unhappy with Tom Crean. This loss won't help one bit.

Bobby Hurley had his first ACC run-in as Arizona State's coach and his team took down NC State behind a strong game from Savon Goodman, who finished with 21 points and 16 boards.

Anthony Barber and Maverick Rowan may end up being a nice 1-2 punch for State. Barber had 22 points while freshman Rowan had 14.

It'll be a Blue Devil reunion in the finals as Hurley's ASU will take on Steve Wojciechowski's Marquette team

In the undercard, NC State takes on Louisiana State and freshman phenom Ben Simmons. Against Wojo's Marquette, Simmons had 21 points, 20 boards and seven assists. Pretty incredible.

Speaking of former Duke assistants, Chris Collins and Northwestern took on UNC Monday night, falling 80-69.

Justin Jackson had 21 points and 13 boards for UNC, while Kennedy Meeks and Joel Berry added 12 each.

UNC gets K-State next.

Dwayne Bacon had 25 points while fellow frosh Malik Beasley had 22 in FSU's win over Ohio. Combined the two were 17-25 from the floor.

It doesn't seem like Leonard Hamilton has been there long enough to win 240 games, but apparently he has.

UMass erupted from three point range, hitting 16 for the game and building a lead that went as high as 28. Brad Brownell explained it this way: Jaron Blossomgame and Avry Holmes had 18 apiece for the Tigers.

The polls came out on Monday and there was some movement. UNC fell from #1 to 9/8. Duke is now 6/3. Virginia fell to 12/12. Miami enters at 15/19.
