Katina Powell's Louisville Allegations Lead To Investigation - Of Powell

If she is proven to have prostituted her underaged daughters, Powell could be in very serious trouble.

Well this seems appropriate: Louisville police now say that if they can uncover solid evidence about the allegations Katina Powell has made about prostituting her daughters to Louisville players, recruits and their fathers, that they'll press charges.

Her own allegations do not constitute sufficient evidence.

Police also say that Andre McGee, the team’s former director of operations, may be prosecuted as an accomplice.

This assumes that her daughters were underage at the time. Potential penalties could be 10-20 years.

For what it's worth, McGee's attorney says that his client never told Powell that his boss head coach Rick Pitino knew what was going on.

For his part, Pitino vowed that the university would "get to the bottom" of what happened with "total [transparency]."
