A lot has changed for the Big East in the last several years, and the conference is now just outside the power conferences when it comes to basketball, but this one factoid really escapes us and is pretty telling: the Big East hasn't had a freshman come out since 2013 (PC's Kris Dunn could have come out for the 2015 draft but opted to return).

That may change now, courtesy of Marquette, where former Duke assistant Steve Wojciechowski has brought in star recruit Henry Ellenson who currently projects as a Top Ten pick for next summer.

Bad for Marquette, but good news for the Big East if it happens.
