Women's basketball has come a long way, but parity really isn't here yet. Latest example: Duke's romp over NC A&T. Duke won by 51, 87-36.

The schools are wildly disparate when it comes to resources. Duke has elaborate cutting edge facilities and training techniques; A&T has little of that. Duke has a national recruiting budget; we don't think A&T's is in the same ballpark. It'd be nice if the playing field was level, but it's just not.
On the other hand consider this: it wasn't that much different from UConn's win over Duke.
As we said, parity is not here yet.
For Duke, Rebecca Greenwell had 20 and Azura Stevens finished with 19.
Statistically, it was Duke's best game of the year in field goal percentage (57.9%), most assists (26), and blocks (11). l
