Aubrey Dawkins, Johnny's Son, Is Stepping Up For The Michigan Wolverines

For those of you who might have missed it, Johnny Dawkins' son, Aubrey, is a freshman at Michigan. He didn't get a lot of playing time early because his coach, John Beilein, was looking for more defense and a tougher approach.

Once he straightened those issues out, more minutes were coming and against Illinois, young Dawkins had 20 points, mostly on threes.

He's not the same sort of player his father was - for one, he's 6-6 and not skinny. Johnny was, and remains, rail thin.

He's got a lot of potential though. It'll be fun to watch him advance.
