Notre Dame's Zach Auguste is in academic trouble but no one can say how serious it is.

First, Zach Auguste's academic situation is murkier, not clearer. Although Mike Brey says his forward has not violated the honor code, he's also not sure when he'll be back and he might be out indefinitely.

And second, there is an after-the-fact clock controversy from the State-Carolina game.

Unusually, at least from a State perspective, it would have benefited the Pack had the game gone to overtime (State fans will tell you that officiating questions always go against State - always).

Apparently the clock stopped and no one noticed which gave State an extra 15 seconds, which doesn't hurt when you're trying to chop down a 12 point lead.
