Barry Jacob weighs in on Jameis Winston and suggests that N.C. State fans let him know what they think of his behavior when he and FSU visit Raleigh this weekend. Seems reasonable, since Florida State fans have already begun doing the same. Quite a few former players have urged Winston, in various way, to get it together.

On a related note, State can take a small sort of demented pride in the arrest of Alabama transfer Trevor Lacey, who was arrested on Western Boulevard early Friday morning.
Lacey, who was riding his scooter, was busted for...failing to appear for...not wearing his helmet - and for not appearing in court after he was previously charged with the same offense.
He certainly wasn't using his head (sorry), but on the Winston scale, doing stupid things that mostly endanger yourself really aren't that big of a deal.
We're sure the coaching staff will have words for him, likely followed by the standard "internal discipline."
