Check this out: Logan is probably the only person outside of the State locker room who argues that State has a pretty good shot against #1 Florida State this weekend. Why?

Because, he argues, of quarterback Jacoby Brissett: "FSU can be had and they can be had by NC State because of the quarterback," Logan maintains.

We'd argue too that given the distractions of Jameis Winston, the program is not as sharp as it might be.

That would be a massive win in every sense, and not least of all because of how bad State was last year. Aside from that, it would take Florida State down several pegs, put the 5-0 Wolfpack in the rankings and also mean that the ACC is much more competitive than people imagine. Even a close game would give hope to everyone else.

And at that point, too, at 5-0 and with a win over #1 Florida State, the Wolfpack could certainly argue that it's the best program in the state.

However, the Pack goes to Clemson the following week. It's just as likely the team will be 4-2 after that.
