Fortunately, he says, this year getting to know his team is going to be easier because the four freshmen are unusually mature: "The freshmen are not freshmen, they’re Duke basketball players. There’s not that differentiation. That doesn’t happen all the time. That doesn’t happen most of the time. But with this group it has."
You can think about some people who came in this way in different years: Kyle Singler, Shane Battier, Grant Hill, Trajan Langdon, Jon Scheyer...maybe Wojo and Chris Carrawell.
Not many guys show up ahead of the game, so to speak. Having four in one class should be really interesting.
