DeCourcy Celebrates K's U.S.A. Tenure

It's been a remarkable run to say the least and Mike DeCourcy argues that it has influenced American basketball from top to bottom.

Head coach Mike Krzyzewski of the USA gives instructions to his players during the 2014 FIBA World Basketball Championship final match between USA and Serbia at Palacio de los Deportes on September 14, 2014 in Madrid, Spain.

Adrian Wojnarowski's hit piece on Coach K yesterday really was grossly unfair and to us anyway, didn't really seem to reflect reality. But he's entitled to his opinion.

For our money, Mike DeCourcy's Tuesday piece was more rational and when you look at what's happened since Jerry Colangelo and Coach K took over USA Basketball, it's pretty amazing.

It deserves immense credit, not Wojnarowski's petty rant.

Somewhere between Wojnarowski and DeCourcy is this piece by Adam Zagoria, which goes in a different direction, looking at Coach K and one-and-dones. We don't agree with everything here, but it's a lot more informed than Wojnarowski's ridiculous piece.
