Another Oddity In The UNC Scandal

Latest strangeness: the police report about the alleged hazing incident involving the football team.

The police report about the alleged hazing incident involving Jackson Boyer is very odd.

According to the N&O, "[t]he first report filed by UNC police only shows an 'allegation of aggravated assault.' It doesn’t identify the victim, any involved parties, or who contacted police about the incident. It identifies the police station as the location of the incident, and says it happened on Aug. 8, four days after the incident."

The Chapel Hill police chief says that it was inaccurate but not intentionally so.

That leaves us dying to know who could fill out the report and make at least five mistakes, with the most ludicrous being that a hazing incident took place at the police station.

The UNC scandal - the gift that keeps on giving.
