Ellenson is athletic and versatile, which would play well at Duke, where the stretch forward concept was really best articulated, if not actually invented. It's a long line now: Danny Ferry, Christian Laettner, Shane Battier, Mike Dunleavy, Kyle Singler, Jabari Parker - Duke has let guys like Ellenson roam for a long time.
Shane Battier summed it up when he said Coach K asked him to "run around and make things happen."
On another note, gifted young big man Thon Maker may reclassify to the Class of 2015.
Maker, one of many young men who left Sudan, is now an Australian citizen and says he'd like to play for Australia in international competition. With Maker - compared to Kevin Durant by some - and Dante Exum, Australian basketball might be ready to hit another level. Toss in the standard collection of three point shooters, and they're competitive with most national teams. They have more than that, though.
