Virginia picked up a useful transfer when Tennessee's Darius Thompson announced for Charlottesville. A 6-5 guard, Thompson has a reputation as a solid defender and an intelligent player. He'll get a year to master the defense and when he's eligible, Virginia will have a roster of big, rugged players at just about every position. It's going to be a lot of fun to play them.
