We were impressed with Duke grad Adam Silver and his handling of the Donald Sterling situation to date, but we didn't know a lot about him other than he was highly regarded by just about everyone.
Turns out his live is as interesting as most novels. He's a fairly compelling figure in any number of ways. We highly recommend reading this article.

We live in a time when people crave integrity and character in their leaders, and are increasingly willing to go outside of the system to find them.
We could easily - easily - see Silver being pulled into politics, not necessarily because he wants it but because people will call him to it.
